Make Mendocino your next getaway

The villages, vineyards, and breathtaking natural beauty of the Mendocino Coast - or just "the Coast," as the locals prefer to call it - make this oceanfront slice of Northern California the perfect destination for a laid-back adventure! Mendocino itself is a quaint town, home to less than 900 year-round residents. However, don't let it's relatively small size fool you - this serene escape is increasingly popular amongst artists drawn to its stunning scenery and vacationers who are attracted by the peace and quiet.

Recent Mendocino vacation rental reviews

We truly enjoyed our stay as always! We love the location as it is both near Fort Bragg and Mendocino. This is the 4th time we have stayed at this house. Our girls feel like this is our 2nd family home. :)

This was our third year vacationing with our adult children in Mendocino at Chanticleer and it did not disappoint. In addition to watching the migrating whales from the deck, we enjoyed our rare family time together celebrating a birthday, hiking Jughandle, eating dinner at Luna Trattoria, shopping in Mendocino, thrifting in Fort Bragg, and exploring the north coast. We look forward to our next visit!

Our family stayed here for a few nights over our spring break. It was so warm and welcoming when we arrived. We enjoyed the unique layout of the home! The beds were comfortable and the kids enjoyed the fun loft sleeping spaces in some of the bedrooms. The workout room, hot tub, and fire pit were a great bonus. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet getaway!
